The design goal for the M3 was to produce a loudspeaker that was capable of the very highest fidelity coupled with very low distortion, absolute transparency, and that could maintain that transparency even when playing at extremely high sound pressure levels.

GGNTKT M3,
four-way active cardioid.
The M3's constant directivity is created by matching the dispersion of the compression tweeter to that of the 8: midrange using a waveguide developed using FEA ( finite element analysis ).
This has made possible a constant horizontal dispersion of 140° much wider than the more usual 90° increasing the listening 'sweetspot'.
Vertically the speaker's radiation is shaped asymmetrically 60° upwards and less strongly 40° downwards in order to reduce floor reflections.
The M3's unique geometry ensures remarkable high frequency resolution , excellent imaging and a natural tonality in almost every listening position or acoustic enviroment.

In contrast to dome diaphragms which can produce uncontrolled break-up modes ( with associated colouration of the sound) the advanced ring diaphragm offers considerable advantages in terms of accurate reproduction.
Despite the enormous diaphragm area the 56mm ring its small diaphragm legs vibrates in phase and there is no break-up within its eentire frequency response, remaining totally pistonic.

The most critical areas for reproduction are the midrange ( speech/voices) where our heaing is most sensitive.
An 8" 210mm high-efficiency cone driver ( 94dB @1W /1M continues the high dynamic levels of the tweeter, feather light, reinforced paper cone, held in place by a filigree loww-loss textile surround.
A copper cap demodulates the magnet system reducing induction and driver related distortion, ensuring uncoloured reproduction.

Extended low bass range/ high electrical and mechanical load capacity/very low distortion and flexible control.
The newly developed 260MM ( 10") subwoofer utilises an air-dried, fibre reinforced paper cone.
Solid die-cast aluminium basket with five 'Y' supports, offer maximum stability and freedom from resonance.
Their long excursion design enables a linear excursion (xmax) of +/- 13.5mm, 7 fold ventilated magnet system drives a large 75mm (3") voice coil wound on a non-conductive firbe-glass core.
Allowing each driver to handle up to 1000W, the low impedance design allows this amplifier power to be used optimally and thus further increase the maximum level.

The M3's industrial design was created by Fabian Ghoshal.
Every aspect of the enclosure's design was optimised for acoustic quality.
Resulting in an enclosure with a large width but shallow depth allowing the M3 to be positioned extremely close to the front wall, (every speaker should be positioned close to the front wall to minimise its own cancellation ).
So although the M3 could hardly be called 'small' it doesn't dominate a room.
Standard colour finishes are matt white and matt black, but every RAL colour and every automotive colour are available to special order.
The M3 is an active design, its electronics completely integrated into the speaker's enclosure, all of the speaker' parameters are accessed by touchscreen, the large aluminium rear panel also acts as a heat sink.
Class-D amplification is provided by two Pascal units 2 x 1000 or 2 X 1500 watts in the M3S model.
Digital signal processing is provided by a fourth generation SHARC chip at 32 bit floating point accuracy. Linear phase equalisation using FIR filters corrects the time domain for smooth and natural reproduction.
AD/DA conversion has a dynamic range of 112 dB(A) and is completely acoustically transparent.
Predictive limiters protect all components against overload and possible damage.
