GGNTKT, M1, M3 (gegentakt)
Roland Schafer's GGNTKT (gegentakt).
Created in 2018 to create active loudspeakers for a totally immersive sound experience.
The name GGNTKT was created by omitting the vowels 'E' and 'A' from Gegentakt, Gegen the eponymous electrical circuit, which literally translates as 'swimming the current' and 'Takt' the basic pattern of music.
Roland's goal was the realistic reproduction, the feeling that you are right in the middle of the performance, totally immersed in the performance.
GGNTKT's loudspeakers are all measurement-led designs, utilising the latest thinking and technology.
Developed using the latest measurement technology Klippel and FEA, finite element analysis,
Constant directivity incorporating the use of waveguides, cardioid radiation and Finite Infinite Response ( FIR ) filters. GGNTKT loudspeakers have a much wider than usual 140º directivity, to create a totally immersive listening experience.
They are designed to be completely full range and to play without any constraint, with no compression or distortion.

GGNTKT M1 and M3 both active designs, both cardioid, with constant directivity, the M1 has incredible bass extension for a compact design..
Cardioid or monopole bass response, a complete system within themselves.
Both designs share a 53mm Titanium membrane ring compression tweeter in a proprietary waveguide for constant directivity.
The M1 uses 3x 6.5' high excursion woofers for mid and bass duties.
Both share a 140° dispersion ( much wider than the customary ) for a fully immersive experience.
Designed to be placed extremely close to the front wall, allowing you to reclaim your room.

GGNTKT are a contemporary measurement led active loudspeaker manufacturer at the very forefront of design. The M1 combines a 56mm titanium ring diaphragm compression driver with waveguide with three 6.5" drivers ( two positioned on the rear of the enclosure ) for an almost completely full-range frequency cardioid response, designed to be placed close to walls to increase headroom and avoid cancellations.
A transparent and hugely dynamic sound capable of filling almost any room without compression.
