(AsciLAB) 2-Way Passive Loudspeaker range.
Acoustic Science Laboratory ( AsciLAB) are a recently established loudspeaker manufacturer based in Seoul, Korea.
AsciLAB maybe new but their designers Jinsung Ko and Changyeul Park have twenty years experience in the field of acoustics and loudspeaker design.
All of AsciLAB's speakers are developed using the very latest Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Klippel's NFS ( Near Field Scanner).
Their goal was to design the finest measuring and thus most transparent loudspeakers possible, they have succeeded.
The first designs to be released are five compact two-way passive designs.
All AsciLABS designs feature a custom designed waveguide and phase plug/coherer.
F6B/S :- Two-way sealed enclosure design, chiefly intended for wall/ceiling mounting in a multi speaker configuration.
F6B :- Two way passive design utilising a 5x8" passive radiator.
C6B :- Two way passive design utilising SB Acoustics Aluminium/Ceramic version of their woofer and tweeter.
A6B :- Two way passive based on Purifi's Aluminium woofer and twin Purifi passive radiators.
S6B :- Two way passive using an all Purifi driver complement, aluminium woofer their new PTT tweeter and twin passive radiators, the ultimate two way!

Wave guide and phase plug, both optimised through finite element analysis to achieve continuous directivity.
The deep waveguide ensures outstanding constant directivity and precise dispersion.
The phase plug/coherer has been refined through countless simulations and hundreds of prototypes to ensure seamless directivity.
AsciLABs two-way range utilise SB Acoustics woofers and tweeters, paper/fibre in the F6B and the aluminium-ceramic versions in the C6B.
The A6B comprises of Purifi's aluminium woofer and SB acoustics aluminium-ceramic tweeter.
The S6B ( soon to be released) comprises of an all Purifi driver line up, woofer, the new PTT tweeter and twin passive radiators.
Redefining two-way speaker design with a 1kHz crossover,
Such a low crossover is extremely rare in two way designs, it takes exceptionally precise engineering, the deep volume proprietary waveguide increases acoustic loading, the robust and stable tweeter ensures low distortion even at high sound pressure levels.
The results are the finest measuring and thus most transparent loudspeakers currently available.

There is so much hype and BS in the Hi-Fi industry it is a joy to discover a range of products that not only live up to expectations but exceed them.
Jinsung and Changyeul are as transparent as their designs, every measurement for every speaker is published every design decision is explained and corroborated by measurement.
They are simply the best loudspeakers I have heard, at any price.
