The ORBIT 11 combines an innovative point source design with high power reserves, a linear phase response and extensive EQ.
The heart of the Orbit 11 is a 6.5 " midrange coaxial with integrated 1" titanium tweeter, complemented by two 8" side mounted bass drivers.
Constant directivity dispersion, high localisation and stable imaging across the entire frequency spectrum.
Frequency response spanning 28Hz -28kHz ( -3dB) delivers full-range response without the need for a sub-woofer.
Signal processing is high resolution FIR ( finite, infinite, response) at 96kHz sampling rate with 24 bit depth.
Linear phase filters with a latency of only 4 milliseconds ensures precise impulse response and unadulterated signal reproduction.
The Class-D amplification delivers up to 1000W peak power ( 400 W RMS ) achieving a maximum sound pressure level of 116 dB.
Sufficient SPLS for even larger rooms.
The Orbit 11 offers extensive customisation options for room acoustics and placement.
Including a 3-band parametric EQ, a high pass filter and presets for
different speaker placement and distances from the front wall.
Operated from a clearly designed control panel located on the top of the speaker's cabinet.
In addition to analogue XLR inputs the Orbit 11 includes AES3 for digital signal connectivity.
The die-cast enclosure is made from low resonance aluminium alloy, reducing mechanical influences, contributing to clean, controlled reproduction.
