They are both superb loudspeakers , see my ’Kii Killer’ ( it was only meant to be an eye catching title Chris and Bruno! )
if you look at the in-room measurements of both speakers taken with speakers and microphone in exactly the same spot you will see how similar the measurement plots are.
Yet the speakers do sound differently from each other , later I will re measure both speakers and post the graphs here, I will also include the distortion plots for both speakers REW has this functionality.
The Kii THREE has been dogged by a poor bass distortion measurement which was posted in the very first review of the THREE’s by ’Audio’ magzine, ( see my Kii reviews collated blog)
It should be interesting to compare the distortion plots of both speakers!

More ‘comparising’ today a potential customer who aesthetically prefers the ATC active 50’s came to hear the Dutch&Dutch8c versus the Kii THREE
When comparingI tend to just use one set of stands and lift speakers on to them in turns, which isnt ideal, or sometimes I try to place both where their impact on each other will be minimised, again not ideal.
Todays victor was the 8C the customer thought that voices seemd fuller had more ’chest’ and not just ’mouth’ bass is definitely punchier even when I increase the boundary settings on the Kiis.
